About Us
Prairie Land Porch Pumpkins was started in 2025 by two U.S. veterans and longtime friends who came up with the idea when they were deployed in Ukraine.
Prairie Land Porch Pumpkins is a sister company to Prairie Land Lighting, which provides full-service Christmas lighting, from design through installation, maintenance, and timely takedown.
Meet the Team
Will Aitken
Will has more than two decades of service with the Illinois Army National Guard. During that time he served as a field artillery senior sergeant, joint fire support specialist, radio operator-maintenance, and telecommunications operations chief. Will was deployed to Afghanistan (2008-2009) and Ukraine (2020-2021). He lives in Mattoon, Illinois. Will has a daughter, and they spend their free time kayaking, hiking, and traveling.
Jason Coventry
Jason has served in the Illinois Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve for nearly 30 years, working as an infantryman and psychological operations specialist. His deployments include Kuwait (2001), Germany (2002), Iraq (2005-2006), Afghanistan (2008-2009), and Ukraine (2020-2021). Jason lives in Findlay, Illinois. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his daughter and son swimming, listening to music, and traveling.
